[Matthew 25:14-29, Philippians 3:10] - The Parable of the Bags of Gold
The King gave 3 servants bags of Gold - two of those servants wanted to better what they had - when they did the King approved and rewarded them, but the man who did nothing with his bag of gold was disapproved.
Everything God gives us is meant to multiplied, [love, salvation, and grace are all gifts from God in which we need to be multiplying]
Challenge yourself to do better in Christ - develop your Spiritual Life, done that? Save a friend, done that? save a few friends, done that? Believe for your first miracle!
Progress - challenge and grow the gift that God has given to you!
Don't be satisfied with what you have now - because God wants you to go out and multiply it - take the initiative to do better.
The King didn't compare those that multiplied or how much they gained - He only looked at what they had done and was pleased with the fact that they had done something with their gifts
You are your biggest competition - don't compare yourself with anyone else - just better yourself - out do yourself.
